Trick or Treat

Halloween this year was a lot of fun. Eriksen dressed up like Mickey Mouse. He really understood trick or treating this year and loved it. He was crazy, running from car to car at the trunk or treats and then down the street trick or treating. He kicked people's decorations and went into their homes. Craziness so we only lasted a block! We also had a chili feed with friends and then they made delicious homemade donuts. It was a very fun day.

Big Shoes to Fill!

Swim Lessons

Eriksen is enjoying swim lessons again. It is amazing how well he is doing this time. Age is definitely helping him! He is so excited in the pool. He squirms and moves all around and wears his goggles. It is so entertaining to watch him.

1st Pictures!

We had our ultrasound today and thought we would share some photos of baby #2! (And no we did not find out the sex. Use your detective skills and see if you can tell from the pictures!) The baby is lying horizontally across my stomach which would make sense as to why I feel the baby is under both sides of my ribs!

(Taking after Grandpa Phil already!)

(Looks strong maybe it is another boy!)

My Craftiness!

When I do something crafty, I have to brag! I made a doodle bead watch tonight for Ladies Night Out. It was a lot of fun and now I have a girly watch to wear. Now to get my husband to take me places to wear my new watch. ;)

Girl's Weekend

This past weekend, I headed to California with some of my friends to visit Brianne. Brianne and her family had moved away recently so we thought it would be fun to go visit. The drive was 9 hours and really not too bad. Probably because we didn't have to worry about kids. We got to California at 3 AM. I'm too old to stay up that late! After sleeping in, we went sight seeing and saw the amazing town Brianne lives in. I am so jealous and if Myles and I had "extra" money I would love to buy a home in Brianne's subdivision. It was gorgeous with a lake and multiple beaches. All the homes are surrounded by trees. I felt like I was camping in the woods but in a much better place than a tent!
We got dressed up and went to dinner and then went shopping. It was so nice to be at a mall and not wanting to pull my hair out because Eriksen is running around like a crazy man. We stayed up late and played cards and had some girl talk. It was a great weekend and I'm glad I went. Thanks for showing us around Brianne. We miss you guys but now I totally understand why you would want to stay in sunny California.

Picking Pumpkins!

Our annual trip to the pumpkin farm!
We had a blast and Eriksen loved the pumpkins.

We also made homemade caramel apples. Yummy!! We ate them too fast to take pictures, though.

Time Out

(This post is more to help me remember. I really need to start a journal!)
Today, Eriksen was in the living room and I was calling him from his bedroom. He had pooped and I wanted to change him. I called him twice and then said, "Eriksen, you either come and change your diaper or go to time out." I hear him yell, "OK!" and I got up to go take him to time out. He goes running past me and put his nose in the time out corner. He stayed there until I called him to change his diaper. What a silly goose!!!

Washington

On Thursday, we loaded up the car and headed to Seattle. Our trip was to spend time with Sonny, Emily and Taylor. Emily, my mom and I also had tickets to go see Wicked. It was amazing and we are now addicted and want to make this a yearly event. Not to see Wicked every year but to see a Broadway play. On Friday, we went to the Puyallup Fair. It was fun. What's the best thing about the fair?... The food. We ate 1/2 pound hamburgers, greasy fries, cotton candy and ice cream. We also learned that in Washington, you can get pulled over for driving too slow!! Serious. Sonny got pulled over for going 67 in a 60 mph zone and was told he was driving too slow. He needed to keep up with traffic. CRAZY!! Almost 2 day old piglets. Waiting to milk a fake cow.Saturday was the play and while we attended the play the boys went to a zoo. They got to ride a train and get an up close and personal view of all the animals. Taylor and Eriksen had a great time together. They would walk down the sidewalk holding hands. Soo cute. I'm a little sad that this new baby will not have a cousin close in age. :( Taylor also introduced Eriksen to guns. Taylor is obsessed with guns and swords. We had so much fun it was hard to leave. Thanks Sonny, Emily and Taylor. We loved our trip.
